Mission

The Hawai‘i Island Community Health Foundation works to enhance the well-being of our island by expanding access to care through the Hawai‘i Island Community Health Center. We advance health equity through innovative approaches, support and empower our staff, and embrace our shared responsibility to shape a healthier future for Hawai‘i Island.

Vision

A Hawai‘i Island where everyone works together to create lasting health and opportunity—through access to care, community-wide engagement, and strong support for those who provide it. We see the Hawai‘i Island Health Foundation as a model of workplace wellness and a driving force for equitable care, vibrant communities, and a healthier future for all.

The Foundation raises funds and builds partnerships to support:
  • Supporting patients with transportation to and from appointments
  • Strengthening workforce stability through childcare support initiatives
  • Enhancing clinic environments through the Art is Healing program
