Patient care comes first. Everything else is secondary or less of a priority.
I am at work most of the time. I rarely take time off. I prefer that I see my own patients for everything (but appreciate the organization has those to step in for my rare absence) and advise them to insist to wait for me rather than be scheduled with anyone else.
