Therapy should feel welcoming, safe and nonjudgmental; while creating a relationship built on trust. The therapeutic journey is self-driven to accomplish individualized goals while the therapist provides support and guidance along your path. I am a trauma-informed and person-centered practitioner that uses brain-spotting, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), emotion-focused therapy (EFT), eye movement desensitization & reprocessing (EMDR), Gottman Method couples therapy, and somatic therapy (holistic/mind-body)

Practice Philosophy:

“In the process of healing others we heal parts of ourselves we never knew were broken.” We are meant to help one another because healing does not occur in isolation. It is human experience to have access to so many feelings – and in some instances – endure the truly difficult ones; but you don’t have to struggle alone.

I have profound respect and appreciation for cultural practices and understand the importance of BIPOC representation in behavioral health. I believe that mental health is as important as physical health. Our minds need just as much intentional care and compassion as the rest of our body; in order to maintain growth & health.

We are committed to serving our community with respect, compassion and humility.

Outside of the Clinic:

I love reading, summiting the mountain tops, being creative with my journaling process, and extemporaneous story telling.
