We provide integrated pharmacy services for all ages – with a talented team including pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, refill nurses, and 340B staff. Our pharmacy services team works together with your medical, behavioral health, and dental providers to ensure that you receive the care and support you need.

Important: If you purchase your prescriptions through an outside pharmacy (CVS, Walmart, etc.) Please contact your pharmacy directly for refill requests.

Clinical Pharmacy Services

Our Clinical Pharmacy team operates in the health center alongside your care team, providing specialized medication support, education, referrals, chronic disease management, and assistance. Clinical pharmacy team members are available to help patients on their healthcare journey. Including:

  • Medication Counseling
  • Health Education and Wellness Programs
  • Referrals for Specialty Care
  • Translation and Culturally Sensitive Services
  • Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Services:
    • Glucometers & Nebulizers
    • Assistance with Ordering Prescribed Durable Medical Equipment (DME)
      • Diabetes Equipment such as insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitors (CGM)
      • Respiratory Devices
      • Mobility Aids
      • Hospital Beds
      • Bath Safety Devices
  • Chronic Disease Management
    • Hepatitis B

Retail Pharmacy Services

Our in-house retail pharmacy gives HICHC patients the option to purchase their prescriptions directly through HICHC. Our retail pharmacy operates out of our Kea’au Health Center, and provides access to prescriptions at all HICHC health centers through pick-up at our facilities, or through the mail. Including:

  • Routine and Emergency Prescriptions for HICHC Patients
  • Prescription Mail Services to USPS addresses & PO Boxes
  • Prescription pick-up at your primary care HICHC location
  • Walk-in vaccinations for HICHC patients at our Kea’au Pharmacy
  • Help Accessing Medications
  • NEW: On-site prescription pickup locker at our Ka’u Family Health Location Learn More
  • NEW: If you use HICHC as your pharmacy, you can now chat with our Kea’au Pharmacy Team, request refills, and get pickup notices for your prescriptions through the RXLocal App
    • This app can be used by patients picking up their medications at our HICHC Kea’au Pharmacy, as well as those ordering prescription medications delivered to any of our health center sites or mailed to your home.
